Follow this prompt to help break or prevent writer’s block. Use your word processor, your blog, or handwrite this out. Remember that whatever works best for you will yield the best results.

Do you have a least favorite color, one that you absolutely can’t stand the sight of? What is this color? Describe why you do not like this color in 200 words. Describe where you may see this color often, but wish it were a different color instead in 200 words. What other color would you rather see in its place? Describe that in 100 words.

Turn on your radio, if it is not already on. What is playing? Is it a song? Radio commentary? Or is it a commercial of some kind. Describe what you hear in 100 words. Is it something you like to hear, or is it annoying? Describe why or why not in 100 words. What would you have liked to hear when turning on the radio? Describe that in 100 words. If you’re in a room with no radio, describe why there isn’t one in there in 300 words.
