Rather than continuing with the boo-hoo’ness I started this morning about losing a steady gig, I’m going to turn those feelings into actions. It’s really easy to get caught up in the negativity of the situation, but I refuse to let that happen today.
Instead, I’m back on the query train! Through use of the motivational thread, Just Hit Send, I’m going to acquire BETTER steady gigs to make up for this loss.
Am I being over-zealous? Perhaps. Am I being unrealistic? Not at all. The only limitations are those we place on ourselves. If you’re in the freelance writing business and feel the least bit insecure about your abilities, then that will reflect itself in your career.
It’s easy to get frustrated. It’s easy to feel defeated. It’s easy to feel like a failure. Don’t let that negativity lead you down the wrong path. Let those feelings fuel the fire of opposition and turn each around into something positive.
