What Are Your Favorite Writing Books?
May 19th 2008 12:26
For years, I've been saying the same thing: A writer can never have too many resources. This, of course, includes books related to writing. I have books about writing careers, skills, creative writing, book promotion, writing markets, and many more. I'm addicted to learning more about improving my career, so my piles of books continue to grow.
Do you have a collection of writing-related books? Do you have favorites that you continue to recommend over and over? What are some books you'd like to add to your collection?
What tops my list of recommendations:
1: The Writer Mama
2: Make a Real Living as a Freelance Writer
3: The Write-Brain Workbook
4: The Artist's Way
5: The Writer's Market
Trust me, there a MANY others that I continue to recommend over and over - these are typically topping my list, though. I have a list of art-related books I recommend over and over, as well. That's another story for another day.
