Spiral Bound Notebooks
Every new freelance writer wants to know, "what do I need to stock up in order to kick off my writing career?" It's a valid question, true, but it tends to be over-thought by some. Really, these things don't need to be pondered so much. How you use these tools deserves better thought and attention, I think.
Anyway.......
My number one "tool of the trade" is notebooks, preferably with a spriral binding. I pick them up in bulk during back to school sales. From time to time throughout the year, too, I'll pick up some fancier ones with a hard cover, a designed cover, or a spiral along the top of the notebook.
