Penmanship Skills
July 31st 2008 17:45
Ever since starting my freelance writing career, I’ve noticed that I don’t put pen to paper nearly as often as I used to “back in the day.” I have found typing things out to be much quicker and more convenient, of course. This is true for most other writers I’ve come across, as well.
This begs the question: has your penmanship skills suffered since you became a professional writer?
Mine hasn’t, but others I’ve come across have struggled with this issue. I have noticed, though, that my hand tires quicker than it used to when I write in my paper journals or make to do lists. I’ve also noticed that not as much emphasis has been placed on handwriting skills in school as before.
Have you noticed a difference?
