Break the Block: Tip #34
October 7th 2008 11:56
Follow this prompt to help break or prevent writer’s block. Use your word processor, your blog, or handwrite this out. Remember that whatever works best for you will yield the best results.
Do you have a chore to do today that is one you would rather drop from your to do list? Explain what it is and why you would rather not do it today in 300 words. If you do not have a chore that you would rather drop from your to do list today, what is one that you would rather not do on another day? Describe that chore and why it is unpleasant in 300 words. What would you rather be doing today? Describe this event or situation in 200 words.
If you feel you can write more than what is outlined here, feel free to do so. If you feel the need to write less, consider writing about why you wish to do so in order to keep your pen moving and your mind working.
