Break the Block: Tip #26
September 29th 2008 15:01
Follow this prompt to help break or prevent writer’s block. Use your word processor, your blog, or handwrite this out. Remember that whatever works best for you will yield the best results.
Describe any event from yesterday (as simple as waking up and brushing your teeth to as complex as the ingredients used to cook dinner) in 400 words. Did everything happen yesterday that you planned? Describe why or why not in 100 words. Did something unexpected happen yesterday? Describe why or why not in 100 words. What do you hope to happen this weekend that is different from last weekend? Describe that in 100 words.
If you feel you can write more than what is outlined here, feel free to do so. If you feel the need to write less, consider writing about why you wish to do so in order to keep your pen moving and your mind working.
